Payments and Cancellations

All bookings are subject to a Non refundable deposit to secure the date of reservation.

Some bookings/items will be subject to a Security/Damage Deposit which is refunded within 10 working days of the returned undamaged item/equipment.

Any damages or fail to return hires items/equipment will be deducted from the Security/Damage Deposit

Balances are due 1 week before the event and at a minimum of 48hrs before the date of booking and then becomes non refundable thereafter.

In the event of cancellation outside this 48 hr notice period, any additional payments may be transferred to another date/booking within a month of the previous booking date, this is at the discretion of VW Hires and may be subject to availability at the time. Only 1 transfer of payments is applicable.

VW Hires follow rules in accordance to the Heath and Safety Act at work Act 1974 and BSI Standards. So in relation and in the event of rain or adverse weather conditions in accordance to health and safety where VW Hires are unable to inflate equipment and therefore may have to cancel your reservation, VW Hires will offer a refund on your deposit/payments or transfer it to another booking date subject to availability.

Delivery

Some bookings outside our immediate business area are subject to additional delivery and toll charges depending on location. This is specified at the time of booking and/or on our website.

VW Hires aim to deliver at agreed times, unfortunately there may be unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that may cause a delay in which we will endeavour to keep the client informed but cannot be held responsible for any loss occurred due to these circumstances.

It is the customers/hirer's duty to make sure that the space required for equipment is readily available, free and clear from items and any rubbish at the time of arrival. Failure may cause delays to your booking and other clients bookings and may be subject to additional charges.

We are unable to offer overnight hire for any equipment, unless otherwise agreed.

You will be required at sign/agree a copy of these terms and conditions for the relevant equipment on the day of your booking.

INFLATABLE HIRE AGREEMENT / TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE:

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the equipment
to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid any injury
or damage to the equipment. Please read and adhere to the following Safety instructions carefully:

1. This unit has an age limit of 3-12 years of age. Please ensure that no-one over
this age uses the equipment at any time

2. Please ensure that a responsible adult over the age of 18 supervises the equipment at all times

3. All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges etc MUST be removed before using the equipment.

4. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the bouncy castle.

5. No smoking or barbecues near the Bouncy castle.

6. Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed

7. No food or drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle which will avoid choking and mess Please note that if the Inflatable
is collected in a unreasonable or dirty condition, the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge of £30.

8. Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded and limit numbers according to the age and size of the Children using it. Try to avoid large and
small Children from using it at the same time. We recommend 4 / 5 children at a time, depending on ages and sizes of the child. This castle has an age limit of 12 years old.

9. Always ensure that Children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

10. No pets, toys or sharp instruments are allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle.

11. No running from side to side

12. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a Child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there ONLY to assist users in getting on or off the bouncy castle.

13. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is uses the Bouncy Castle or any Child that is feeling unwell.

14. Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy castle during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

15. Please ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.

16. Ensure that there is at least 2 feet clearance on each side of the bouncy castle, a minimum height of 12 feet if indoors, and at least 6 feet at the rear.

17. The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If a rain cover is not fitted, in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.

18. In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that all users get off the inflatable asap, and that it remains inflated. Electrical should be covered or waterproof.

19. In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately, check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower.

(In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later. If it does not restart then contact us straight away on 0793 116 6756)

Please note that all persons using this Bouncy Castle or any other equipment hired from VW Hire do so at their own risk. AND THEREFORE VW HIRE cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using the equipment.

By reading/signing this disclaimer the I the hirer accept Sole Responsibility for the safety of persons using the this equipment and agree to ensure it is supervised at all times by myself or either a responsible adult over the age of 18 whilst equipment is being used and by signing this form I accept full liability for any injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. I confirm I have read and adhere to all the

HIRE AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS (as stated above)

By signing this form I agree that the equipment I have hired is clean, dry and undamaged and safely installed and therefore I expect full responsibility and agree to pay for any loss or damage caused to it, up to the value of the full cost of equipment.

By signing this form I agree to pay the sum of £20 to Bouncy bounce about if the equipment hired is in an unacceptable condition when returned, i.e. if it left in a dirty or muddy state , this is a fee to cover the cost of cleaning

I HEREBY ACCEPT AND AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE LISTED ABOVE ..............................
